Sharon Lask Munson grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Michigan State University and Wayne State University. After college, with an eye on travel and adventure, she taught in England, Germany, Okinawa, and Puerto Rico. After overseas teaching, she drove her blue Oldsmobile up the Alcan Highway to Anchorage, Alaska where she put down new roots, taught school, married, and lived for the next twenty years. She is now retired and lives with her husband, Keith, in Eugene, Oregon. Her poems capture what she has experienced, observed, and how she makes sense of her life and her place in the world. Sharon's work has been published in many literary journals and anthologies. She recently published a full-length book of poetry, That Certain Blue. Her chapbook, Stillness Settles Down the Lane, was published by Uttered Chaos in 2010
Laura LeHew is an award winning poet with over 375 poems appearing in over 175 national and international journals and anthologies such as Ambush Review, Anobium, Collecting Life: Poets on Objects Known and Imagined, Eleven Eleven, Filling Station, PANK, and Uncanny Valley. It’s Always Night, It Always Rains is forthcoming 2012 (Winterhawk Press). Beauty (Tiger’s Eye Press) is in its 3rd printing. Laura received her MFA in writing from the California College of the Arts, writing residencies from Soapstone and the Montana Artists Refuge and interned for CALYX Journal. She edits Uttered Chaos www.utteredchaos.org with her seven cats.
