Kathie Sever, "Make Stuff Together: 24 Simple Projects to Create as a Family"

Kathie Sever, co-author of Make Stuff Together with Bernadette Noll, will be visiting the store this afternoon to introduce families to the activities in her book. Sever and Noll have collected 24 projects to do as a family, giving families the opportunity to share experiences and meaningful time together through the art of crafting, sewing, and recycling. The projects are broken down into manageable chunks for the shorter attention spans of children, enabling even smaller kids to accomplish bigger projects. It's a great book that promotes the slow family movement!
