Mushrooms of Marys Peak and Vicinity

Wednesday, October 5, 2016
Grass Roots Books and Music
7:00 pm

It’s mushroom season in Oregon! We are really blessed to live in the Pacific Northwest, where mushrooms abound. Come hear local mushroom expert Steve Carpenter talk about his new field guide, Mushrooms of Marys Peak and Vicinity.  In contrast to other field guides which include mushrooms that don’t grow here, this field guide only includes mushrooms from our area. It is a  must for anyone foraging in this mushroom-rich environment.

*The author will be reading and signing books at this event.
